CARMEL, Ind., Aug. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CNO Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) announced today the promotion of Adam Auvil to vice president of corporate development and the appointment of Jennifer Childe to vice president of investor relations.
In his new role, Auvil will serve as a leader for CNO Financial's corporate development function including evaluating growth opportunities and leading project execution for the company. He will report directly to Eric Johnson, chief investment officer of CNO.
Auvil joined CNO Financial in 2010 and has held roles of increasing responsibility, most recently vice president of investor relations. Prior to joining CNO, Auvil held finance and accounting positions at CME Group, Alberto Culver and Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
In her new role, Childe will be responsible for overseeing CNO's relations with analysts, investors and rating agencies. Childe will report directly to Erik Helding, chief financial officer of CNO.
"Jennifer brings significant expertise to CNO, having worked as both a sell-side analyst for 12 years and as an investor relations professional," said Helding. "Her leadership will contribute greatly to CNO as we continue to execute our strategy for long-term growth."
With over 20 years of experience, Jennifer previously served as managing director at Clermont Partners where she counseled clients across multiple sectors and market capitalizations and led communication strategies for senior management and investor relations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international economics from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
