CARMEL, Ind., Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Washington National Insurance Company, a national provider of supplemental health and life insurance products for middle-income Americans, was recently awarded two silver W3 Awards by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) for creative web excellence.
The W3 Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes creative and marketing professionals behind award winning websites, marketing programs and video work created for the web. More than 3,000 entries were submitted during this year's competition.
WashingtonNational.com was recognized by the IAVA with a silver W3 Award in the General Website, Insurance category. The company's website was selected based on creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design and ease of use.
Washington National received a second silver award for its web video work, produced in partnership with HOPE and the American Cancer Society, in the Branded Content, Nonprofit category. The video, showcasing the progress of a promising cancer research, was judged on content, technical execution, implementation and overall experience.
