CARMEL, Ind., Feb. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CNO Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) announced that Sean Fallon has joined the company as Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, responsible for developing IT strategy, systems architecture, application development practices, and technology solutions.  He reports to Todd Coombes, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Fallon joins CNO from Lincoln Financial Group where he served as Vice President for Application Development, Group Protection, responsible for implementation of initiatives to improve project execution and delivery, and development of technology roadmaps to enhance operational capability.  Prior to that, he held several leadership roles with CUNA Mutual Group. 

Fallon earned a BBA in management information systems and an MS in finance from the University of Wisconsin.  He is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and leadership member of several industry and civic organizations.
