CARMEL, Ind., July 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Conseco, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) announced that Jacqueline Brainard has joined the company as vice president, re-engineering. She reports to Grace Cowan, Conseco's Senior Vice President, Customer Service.
Ms. Brainard joins Conseco following seven years at BCS Financial Corporation, where she most recently served as senior vice president, chief administrative officer and HIPAA privacy and security officer. At BCS, she also served as the vice president, audit & compliance, and vice president, manager-administration. During her 25-year career, she has served in a variety of financial and insurance-related management positions at Medica, R.W. Morey, Inc., Catalina Life and Health Reinsurance Company, Compass Health Care Plans, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America and The Prudential.
"Jacque's experience is a perfect fit for our mission of transforming some of our internal processes," Cowan said, "She will help us identify and implement best practices, effectively moving the company forward."
Ms. Brainard holds a Bachelor of Science from Moorhead State University, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Saint Thomas, a Post Certificate Degree in Healthcare Corporate Compliance from George Washington University, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from William Mitchell College of Law. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Certified Internal Auditor. She also holds the insurance designations of Fellowship of Life Management Institute (FLMI), Health Insurance Associate (HIA), and Professional of the Academy of Health Management (PAHM). She has served in varying capacities for a number of community organizations.
