CARMEL, Ind., June 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Conseco, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) has been awarded LOMA's top educational achievement award once again. This is the eighth time Conseco has won the prestigious award. The award also came with an individual recognition of Michelle Atkinson, senior training specialist and coordinator of Conseco's insurance education program.

Out of more than 1,200 companies eligible for the award, Conseco was one of just 15 companies recognized for having "the greatest involvement and participation in LOMA's industry-specific learning and development programs." All 15 of the global recipients will be honored at an awards banquet to be held in San Diego in September.
