Carmel, Ind. June 19, 2007 - Conseco Inc. is a recipient of the 2007 Educational Achievement Award presented by the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).
The LOMA Educational Achievement Award is designed to recognize companies with the highest enrollment in LOMA insurance education and financial services courses. The annual award is given to the 15 member companies with the highest employee enrollment in LOMA courses. Conseco has won the award seven times in 10 years.

A large percentage of Conseco employees are involved in a LOMA program each year, putting Conseco in 11th ranking among over 1,250 LOMA companies worldwide and third among U.S. companies in terms of course enrollment.

LOMA courses introduce associates who are new to the industry to the fundamentals of insurance, leading to the development of comprehensive skills. The knowledge gained from LOMA coursework also allows them to provide positive service and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
Veteran associates take LOMA courses to expand their knowledge of unfamiliar insurance areas, seek insight into the newest trends, and work toward professional designations that are recognized and respected throughout the industry. Conseco encourages participation in the LOMA program by covering most costs associated with completing coursework.

LOMA is an international association of over 1,250 insurance and financial services companies. LOMA’s mission is to help member companies improve operations through employee education, research and other informational services. Students of LOMA courses can earn designations such as the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI).
