For the second consecutive year, CNO Financial Group has received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. CNO is among 545 major U.S. businesses earning top marks this year for a commitment to inclusion.
CNO remains unwavering in its commitment to facilitating an inclusive culture that encourages, supports, celebrates and values all 3,400 associates. Additionally, CNO offers five associate-led Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and four affinity groups, including its PRISM LGBTQ+ BRG.
“CNO’s commitment to a culture of inclusion helps us fully deliver on our purpose to secure the future of middle-income America,” said Yvonne Franzese, chief human resources officer. “We believe in creating a work environment where every associate is supported to be their authentic self and can reach their highest potential.”
This year's CEI rated 1,384 U.S.-based companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars, including non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
