Conseco Insurance Names Worksite Regional Sales Team

Carmel, Ind. April 2, 2007 — The Conseco insurance group announced that it has appointed five industry sales leaders to represent Conseco’s worksite marketing division. The company welcomes Brian Bly, Chad Bozell, Scott Muller, Jim Neumann and Scott Woolley to the Conseco Worksite sales team.

The Conseco insurance group (CIG) has long been active in the worksite market, offering supplemental life and health insurance products to middle America customers at work. Conseco Worksite currently provides products and services to employees in more than 18,000 employer groups. Under Luke Bohlman, vice president of sales for Conseco Worksite, the company plans to significantly expand its worksite presence.

About the team:

  • Brian Bly joins Conseco as regional vice president in the Western region. He began his worksite sales career in 1992 with American Fidelity Assurance Company. During his 14-year tenure with American Fidelity, he earned promotions to sales management positions of increasing responsibility and became a member of American Fidelity’s leadership council. Bly holds a bachelor’s degree from Seattle Pacific University and studied naval science at the University of Washington. He is a licensed producer in the state of Colorado.

  • Chad Bozell joined Conseco in 2005 as a national recruiting manager for the company’s health product line and now serves as regional sales manager of worksite sales in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Before Conseco, Bozell served as an executive recruiter for Princeton Search Group of Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to that, he worked with Adams & Associates, an executive staffing firm in Seattle, Washington. Bozell holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing from Ball State University. He is an active member of the National Health Underwriters Association.

  • Scott Muller serves as regional vice president in the Southeast region. He joins Conseco from Colonial Supplemental Insurance, where he served as state territory sales manager in Georgia for two years. Prior to Colonial, Muller worked with American Fidelity Assurance for 11 years, serving as a group disability sales rep for six years and as an area sales manager for five years. Muller graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, with a bachelor’s degree in human resources management.

  • Jim Neumann brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his new role as regional vice president in the Midwest region. Neumann joined Conseco from American Fidelity Assurance Company, where he amassed a career of nearly 25 years in sales and sales management. Most recently he served as chief marketing officer and co-managing officer of American Public Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of American Fidelity. Neumann holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University and has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.

  • Scott Woolley has been named regional sales manager for Texas and Louisiana. He joins Conseco from Allstate Financial Services, where he served as an exclusive financial specialist for more than ten years. Before Allstate, Woolley spent six years with Phoenix Mutual Insurance as a sales representative, specializing in life and disability insurance and employee benefit plans. Woolley graduated from Houston Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing.
